byRoman grew out of a simple but powerful passion for perfume.

Every byRoman fragrance starts with an idea. It's an image, a mood, a place or an emotion I have in my head before the composition itself exists. The perfume is then a way to turn that idea into something someone else can feel too.

Fragrance has never been just an accessory to me. I've always seen it as a way to hold on to memories, express a mood and show part of my personality without saying a word. That fascination gradually led me to create perfume content, test hundreds of fragrances and build a community of people who see perfume the way I do.

The more I immersed myself in the world of fragrance, the stronger my wish to create something of my own became. Not another perfume without a story, but a fragrance I can stand behind from the first idea to the last detail.

That's how byRoman was born.

● The first step

The first step was Creamy Matcha, a fragrance created together with Czech perfumer Václav (Vašek) Lebeda. It's inspired by calm, everyday rituals and the contrast between the energy of the morning and the coziness of a slow afternoon.

To me, byRoman is more than just a brand. It's the result of years of discovering, testing, creating and building trust with the people who follow my journey.

byRoman is a Slovak brand of original perfumes. Its first fragrance, Creamy Matcha, is an extrait de parfum with a note of matcha; you'll find it in a 50 ml bottle and as a 2.5 ml sample, and we ship it to Slovakia, Czechia and Poland.

The person behind the brand is me, Roman Filo. I create perfume content on Instagram and YouTube as roman_thefragranceguy. The byRoman online store is run by Arfrag s. r. o.

Every product you find here has to have its own character, quality and a reason to exist. I want to create fragrances you won't just wear, but that become part of your own memories.
